53rd Annual Military History Conference

Mark your calendar! Planning is underway for CAMP’s 53rd Annual Military History Conference to be held in Tucson, Arizona, Wednesday, April 3 through Saturday, April 6, 2019. There will be no add-on day. It has been 46 years since CAMP held its Annual Conference in Tucson. Twelve potential historic sites have been identified so far for the conference. Potential sites include aviation, an ICBM missile silo, Buffalo soldiers and cavalry forts, and other military sites of the early Spanish and Mexican period in Arizona. Information will be included in all publications and will be sent to all members this summer. Danny and Beverly Johnson of Sacramento are coordinating the conference. Danny was Command Historian at Fort Huachuca for several years in the 1990s.
